A piece for hi-hat and body back movement exploring the nuances of manipulation. How does it feel to be manipulated and where is the line between manipulator and the one who is manipulated? Do we enjoy manipulating or being manipulated? Similarly, I was also interested in the extent to which a person can be “free” or “open” within the so-called “free improvisation”.
